Grapes are a berry. There are different kinds of grapes.

Point: green grapes, leaves, stem, purple grape, red grape. Yes/No: Are some grapes purple? Brown? Green? Red? Do you like grapes? Short answer: What color of grapes do you see?

Grapes grow on vines. A grape farm is called a vineyard.

Grapes have stems. They grow in a bunch. • Point : big bunch, small bunch, one grape. Stem, leaves, part of the vine • Yes/No: Do you eat the stems from grapes? Do grapes grow on a vine? Do them have stems? • WH: What are the sticks that are attached to the grapes? (point to it to ask question)

Grapes can be used to make jelly. Do you like grape jelly? What other kinds of jelly can you think of?

Grapes can be made into juice. What other types of juice can you think of?

Grapes are also used to make wine.

You can eat a bowl of grapes.

Would you like to eat grapes? First, we need to wash them.

Get a strainer.

Put the grapes in the strainer. Clean the grapes with water.

You can wash grapes with your hands if you don’t have a strainer.

Pick the stem off each grape.

Some grapes have seeds. Cut the grapes in half. Pick out the seeds.

Some grapes are seedless. They do not have seeds.
