African Savannah
Lion • Lions eat zebras and giraffes. • Lions are brown and have manes. • Only adult males have manes. • Manes keep their neck safe when fighting other lions.
Giraffe
• Giraffes love to eat leaves on the trees. • Giraffes have long necks and brown polka dots. • They have long necks to reach the leaves on the top of the trees.
Elephant
• Elephants eat grass. • They are gray and have big ears.
• Elephants use their trunks for sucking up water, rubbing their children, smelling, picking up things, and breathing.
Zebra
• They eat grass. • They have black and white stripes. • They run side to side when a lion is chasing them.
Cheetah • Cheetahs eat small to medium size animals like rabbits. • They are brown and have black polka dots. • The cheetah runs faster than any other mammal on land.
