The colonists were mad! They wanted to vote on the taxes. The King said, “NO”!

The King sent a ship to Boston Harbor. The ship had boxes of tea inside.

The colonists said, “We will not pay taxes on tea.” The King was MAD!

They went to Boston Harbor. They went onboard the tea ship.

They threw boxes of tea in the harbor! They called it the Boston Tea Party.

The King was mad! He sent British soldiers to Boston Harbor. The colonists did not like that.
