Page 5 : The colonists were mad about having to pay taxes on tea. They said that they would not pay the tax. So, the tea stayed on the ship.

That means that they were pretending to be Native Americans. They dressed like that because they wanted to be Americans too. They went to Boston Harbor. Boston Harbor is a place where ships park. Boston Harbor is where the ship with boxes of tea was. The colonists got on the ship that had the boxes of tea. Yes/No: Did the colonists go to Boston Harbor? Did the colonists get in a car? The boxes of tea got wet and ruined. Britain would not be able to sell the tea to the colonists now. The colonists would not have to pay taxes on the tea. Britain would not get the tax money. The colonists called throwing the tea into the water, The Boston Tea Party. The water in the harbor looked like a big cup of tea.
